Mariza b., always a performer and loves to teach, has been awarded a Distinction from Trinity College, London for the Associate ATCL Diploma Performing Musical Theatre as well as the Grade 8 Musical Theatre examination. She holds a Diploma in Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from The Edward de Bono Institute, University of Malta and has taught Dance/Performing Arts to students at leading Theatre Schools for several years. Challenging career achievements include choreography for FM Theatre production ’Fiddler On The Roof’, being assigned as Dance Artist for Valletta 2018, Movement Tutor for the Kreattiv Project funded by the Arts Council as well as Pilates and Musical Theatre Instructor for the Department of Active Ageing and Community Care.
As a Fitness and Pilates teacher she has worked in leading Leisure Centres, having been awarded the OCR/RSA Fitness Teaching Certificate, UK, the EFA & IFAS International Pilates Teachers Certificate from Nyon, Switzerland as well as the Official Zumba Instructor Certificate from ZIN in Rome, Italy.
Mariza b. started her Theatre and Dance Education at the age of 4 then auditioned successfully for the prestigious Bush Davies School for Performing Arts in the UK where for the next 3 years she specialised in Dance and Musical Theatre. She has appeared on stage and television locally and overseas also cast in song and dance roles in ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Chicago’. Selected as choreographer for the longest running musical production in Malta, ’Knights Spectacular 1565', she worked as a full time performer cast in the lead role of 'Melita' also creating choreography for 'Strait Street' and performing lead. Mariza b. has worked on radio hosting her own daily show and is a voiceover artist for radio and television commercials.
